Located at the edge of the New Forest and the waterside, 5th Marchwood Scout Group has been providing activities and adventure for young people since 1907. Having evolved in that time we have grown into a group with over 70 members meeting every week offering a range of adventurous activities and opportunities for young people.

The Group Currently is made up of a Beaver Colony, Cub Pack, Scout Troop and a Explorer Unit. We currently have around 15 Uniformed and supporting volunteers and supported by an Executive Committee, who look after the group.

Our Beaver Colony and Cub Pack both camp a couple of times a year, our Scout Troop and Explorer Unit both camp regularly and attend national scouting events including some international events including Jamborees with opportunity to attend World Scout Jamborees. We also run Group camps which bring our entire scouting family together.

We use our Local Scout Campsite Ferny crofts regularly as well as our access to the sea and other local activity centres to provide a range of activities from Climbing, Abseiling, Tomahawk throwing, Archery, Duke of Edinburgh award and so much more.
